Quotes "My stay at UTown has been memorable thus far, and I am glad to be part of a community where there is active engagement of students in decision-making and in the organisation of activities/events. Also, the environment has a sense of vibrancy alongside diversity, where we get to interact with new friends from a variety of cultures/countries as we live, learn, work and mature together."

** Ecko (Tembusu College) **
An echo is defined as a close parallel or repetition of an idea, feeling, style or event. Ecko is a gathering of 6 friends from Tembusu College with a mission to recreate music paralleling the ideas of modern culture, finding sound through covering today's hit songs.

** Your Sister's Postman (NUS Original Music Society) **
Formed in 2011, this rock band is all about heavy riffs to bang your head to and catchy tunes to sing along to. Citing bands like Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chilli Peppers as influences on their sound, their songs also cover an array of themes from faithlessness to yearning.

** Cold Shoulder (NUS) **
Cold Shoulder comprises sound-makers who disregard the conventions of popular music. This guiding premise helps the recently-formed quintet create original compositions, with an emphasis on experimentation and groove.

** The Smoking Marshalls (KEVII Hall) **
The Smoking Marshalls are glad to be back to rock Supernova again! Formed in 2010, the band from King Edward VII Hall with a big group of playing members sets out to entertain with rock, pop, metal and many other genres; versatility is the very essence of the band.
