The UTown Residence (formerly known as Graduate Residence) at University Town (UTown) provides NUS' graduate community with accommodation facilities organised into either four-bedroom suites for single graduate students or apartments for married graduate students. To promote greater interaction amongst residents of diverse backgrounds, the UTown Residence also offers many opportunities for them to mingle and foster friendships with one another at the common lounges, sky gardens and other open common areas.
Unlike the undergraduate students residing at the residential colleges, graduate students staying at UTown are not anchored to a particular academic programme. Nonetheless, they can look forward to social, sports and cultural events planned by the Office of Student Affairs’ Residential Life (RL) Team or soak in the atmosphere of the general buzz at UTown.
Join the RL team at festivals such as Deepavali and Mid-Autumn Festival to appreciate one another’s traditions and cultures. For healthy living, participate in the various sports events like badminton, basketball and soccer.

“UTown is a university community that is unlike any that I have seen. As one of the Resident Advisors, we will ensure that this is not only a place of rest and recreation for our residents, but also one that long-lasting friendships will be made.”
